A question on Mono and file path
I just wanted to test a .NET application I developed in C# on my Vista machine. I have mono 2.6.1 installed on my gentoo system. I can't run this .NET app using mono, for the following reason.
The app reads from an xml file which resides at the same location as the app. The problem I'm facing is that, the xml file contains a file/folder path list and the program needs to access these files/folders at run time. Since, these paths are in windows format (e.g. C:\Pictures etc), the program does nothing as it can't find these files.
I have mounted the NTFS partition that holds these files/folders on say /mnt/sda8. Now how do I specify the path to this partition and files/folders ? Do the paths need to be in a format wine uses or what is it ?
