Taking the Leap to Gentoo
Hi All,
I'm finally taking the leap to Gentoo (at least Virtualbox) after almost a decade of using Linux (mostly Ubuntu, Fedora and OpenSuse).
I'm already having an issue. It's not allowing me to install the x86 version, I believe that this is the default for Virtualbox because it doesn't support 64 bit version OS's.
Error is Unable to boot -- please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU

Don't use the Gentoo livecd, it sucks. Use the system rescue cd or the ubuntu livecd, they both work wonderfully.
Also, Virtualbox does support 64 bit guests if you are using a 64 bit base.
