    how to automount cds and usb devices?


    I got a 2.6.9 kernel (gentoo-dev-sources), im looking for an automounter, ive tried submount, and supermounter, but i cant get them to work. Can anyone help me please?

    bu auto mount, do you simply meen a way to make a device mounted at bootup?

    No i meen, when a cd or an usb devise is inserted. Then how to get it to automount, without having to mount it manually
