OK so now that I got gentoo installed on my test machine I am attempting to install it on my main rig. The only thing is, is that I do not know what to do with the open build drivers I downloaded from their site (http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA/bios_rr1820av1.2.htm). Ive screwed around with it a bit, and googled for a while, but both came up with nothing. Thnx for the help.

well sounds like you will have to untar the files that u downloaded then read the readme or install.txt in the tarball
if u put up the whole name of the file for the driver we can tell u how to untar it so that u can get to the readme
or look at man tar for the arg's to use on that type of tarball~Mike ~~~ Forum Rules
