Has anyone used hard copy gentoo guide books?

I'm not sure, I just copy/pased into Open Office, and printed, it was ~70 pages A4.

I am going currently to Debian if there isn't a hard copy guide book such as Debian3XBible

There isn't one that I"m aware of, but the handbook that is on gentoo's website is awesome. Gentoo has some of the best documentation around when it comes to distros.

I don't know of any hard copies...I just printed off the 80 or so pages from the Gentoo website

same here, just printed it all off..... stapling it all together is something i not got round to doing yet.....
think i will have to get an industrial sized stapler! lol
or.....hole punch it and whack it in a folder

IMHO, it's not really worth it to print. You will be able to pull it up in links when you install. And if you install often enough that you need one a lot, then you'll know the installation procedure by heart.
