    Gentoo as a server

    Does anybody use Gentoo as a server? If so what type of server do you use it as? Does it run better than a FC server? I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

    What are the server specs? Just asking because if it's a slow box it will take so long to compile when you are upgrading.

    I use Gentoo on my server. It's smaller (I have a small 8gb hard drive) than FC, and no doubt faster. Also has some of the dedicated servers for emerge. Very handy.
