Other Gentoo based distros?
I was curious if there are any Linux distros that are based off Gentoo? I see there are many based off debian, slackware, redhat, mandrake. I was curious if any have taken off of Gentoo.

And I didn't think to set any USE flags, "emerge kde" might have been a little quicker if I had.
All in all, I thought Vidalinux was a pretty good distro. How to know if you are a geek.

Yeah, I am considering using Fluxbox instead of Gnome or KDE. It would be interesting if someone made a flavor of Gentoo based around that.

VidaLinux 1.1 was good. There were a couple of small things that didn't work (some easy to fix, some more time-consuming) but all in all, I would recommend it to someone who wants a stepping stone for Gentoo.

if you want a gentoo based fluxbox environment distro then try Navyn OS or Flash Linux, as per distrowatch.com; however, you should just go with gentoo
