[SOLVED] No sound. Realtek AC97 Sound card

Add your user to the audio group. I think the command is

usermod -G audio username

if that doesn't work, try

man usermod

errr if u use that command u will have to remember to put in all the groups that u already have inorder to still have them after u use that command so do

groups <username>

to find out what groups u r in already
or
simply use the command

gpasswd -a <user> <group>

to add a group to a user
