    Hey guys I would like some help with duel boot
    i have win xp(for games) on a hd
    and gentoo on a hd
    to switch i switch the drives but can i duel boot with duel hda's?

    install a boot loader, such as GRUB or LILO. this will give you an option at boot up which OS to load.

    Set the gentoo to be the secondary or slave hard drive. Make sure that you set your jumpers accordingly.

    Gentoo will be /dev/hdb1 if primary slave.
    Gentoo will be /dev/hdc1 if secondary master.
