i'll use reiserfs as i've used it for a while too and have had no problems.

hmm...it's too late now (already have a fresh gentoo install with my partitions set up how i want), but how would i "re-digest" a package in the future...just in case there's something i need installed and am willing to try this?

to fix the digest do:
Code:ebuild /usr/portage/app-misc/appname/app.ebuild digest
