    Cannot emerge nvidia-glx

    I can't seem to be able to emerge the nvidia kernel module when I emerge nvidia-glx because of a build error. Here is the complete output of my emerge:

    Sounds like a bug in the code. You might want to file a bug report/see if it's a known bug.
    If you google your error, you might get a patch or something.

    'emerge sync' and try again to see if they fixed it otherwise try either a newer version or and older version

    im running media-video/nvidia-kernel 1.0.7664 but that is the ~x86 version the unstable version
    also check gentoo bugzilla for like bugs http://bugs.gentoo.org/

    As loft said, that version is out of date. Put "media-video/nvidia-kernel ~x86" and "media-video/nvidia-glx ~x86" in /etc/portage/package.keywords.
