Server
Ok, I want to do a Stage 2 installation of Gentoo x86 to make a web server. I presume that the software I'll need to install is:
ndiswrapper (for the wireless card driver);
PHP
Apache
MySQL and / or PostgreSQL
Is there anything else that should be on that list?
If it helps, it's just going to be tower (i.e. no monitor or keyboard) so I'll upload/alter files via wireless. Also, I'll probably only have a 4Gb drive, so I won't have a great deal of space to play with. Email would be sent to a Gmail account, therefore I won't be needing a mailserver.

You'll probably just want, as you said Apache, MySQL, and PHP for the server aspect of it. I'd also recommend OpenSSH, as sometimes you just need help from somebody else to get things working.
As for the wireless aspect, which card is it (Brand, Model [Chipset])?

I'm going to get a Belkin g-standard card. I have one of these in another tower and it worked fine in Slackware 10 once I used ndiswrapper to put the Windows driver on the system. That's how I know it should work on Gentoo. Without that card, I won't be able to use 'emerge' to get any of the software I need (obviously).
