network not working on boot
i completed another installation and when i boot up im trying to emerge gnome and gdm but apparently my network isnt working correctly because it keeps aborting when im trying to do it.

are you using dhcp, did you remember to emerge dhcpcd while chrooted from the live environment, if so try:
ifconfig eth0 up
dhcpcd eth0
after that try pinging:
ping -c 3 www.google.com
if you get anything other than unknown host, the you are cooking with gas...Operating System: GNU Emacs
