    gnome not working {solved}


    i got everything working except gnome. when i bootup it goes to an X screen that asks me to log in, so i log in and it brings be to this window that says "session menu" then in a box belowthat it says choose session type. and if i click anything the keyboard or mouse it goes right back to the login. i emerged gdm gnome already.

    i found out what was wrong my /etc/rc.conf had #s infront of the gnome and gdm thing. i remembered from another file i was changing that it said #s exclude the statements that follow.
