    mplayer error


    i got this error trying to play an avi video in mplayer
    Fatel Error! Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.

    try mplayer -vo x11 /path/to/file.avi

    hmmmm... doesn't seem to be anything wrong there...

    have you tried the above suggestion of mplayer -vo x11 file.avi ?
