After Three weeks the Answer was right in front of me, to start a pcmcia network adapter in gentoo type in
[code]/etc/init.d/pcmcia start
then you can run

After Three weeks the Answer was right in front of me, to start a pcmcia network adapter in gentoo type in

then you can run

plus you can use
rc-update add whatever default
to have it automatically run for you on every restart...though with gentoo barring a kernel recompile why would you ever restart?Operating System: GNU Emacs
