Gentoo shortcuts...RR4 or Litrix? (Or something else?)

You could always install any old Linux, download the portage tarball, and extract it. You may need to also get the Gentoo stage<whatever> tarball. But this may work--Dachnaz [Fuzzy Llama]

Gentoo does have an installer now, look for the iso in the experimental section.
You could also check out vidalinux.
Or as smolloy suggested, we could look at your current gentoo problems.Pick up a starving dog, prosper him, and he won't bite you.
