Sounds like it could be a video detection problem. Is there a textmode boot option?

OK, I got FlashLinux up and running. Now im trying to install the drivers for my network card. I have the cd with the drivers on it. But when I try to install the kernell drivers. There is no /usr/src/linux. How can I get my Marvell Lan driver installed. I tried modprobe sk98lin but I had no success. Then I tried the drivers that were on the cd. It comes with the installer. But the installer fails when it tries to install files to any of the /usr/ folders. Please advise me on what to do.

If there is no /usr/src/linux that means the kernel source code hasn't been installed. Does FlashLinux have an option to do that? If not, you check what version of the kernel you have with uname -a and download that tree from http://www.kernel.org
