Wrtie to NTFS partition Samba
Hi having abit of a problem
I am creating a samba file server and would like to no if it is possible for me to have my backup solution writing to an NTFS partition on a removable usb drive as the cleint needs to be able to take this home with them . Any sultions would be great.

if the removeable drive is connected to the fileserver, you will have to use something like captiventfs to write to it.
However, if it is connected to a remote windows machine and is set to be shared across the network, you can mount it on the samba server and write to it, note you will need to compile the smbfs option either into the kernel or as a module.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
