i have a hawking tech card and the chipset is acx111 i want to use it on gentoo but have no other way to get online for the installation and post installation and the wireless card drivers are not found. could anyone help me out please?

I used this mini howto to get my acx111 based card working in Gentoo.

well that would work very well...but since this card is the only way for me to get online how am i supposed to perform these tasks off the install disc? or possibly how would i perform these tasks after doing a stage3 installation from a universal cd.

Argh... Sorry I missed the part about you not being able to get online.
From a google search, I found this thread on gentoo forums. I suggest you download the dirvers and firmware to a usb flash drive or a cd-rw or a windows partition and then follow those steps.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
