    Code:
    emerge -u gentoo-sources
    or whatever sources you are using then either cp the .config from your existing kenel and then
    Code:
     make menuconfig > exit > save yes
    and then cp it to boot as listed in the handbook as linked below
    or simply make the kernel from scratch and continue with the handbook from here http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handboo...ap=7#doc_chap3
