I need help, wireless ethernet card not working :(
Can someone please help me my wireless ethernet card does not work and i dont know how to get it working. Im running fluxbox if that helps any and im also running gentoo 2.6.13. PLZ Help -- TheSource, Update:
I just read the box and i dont know if this helps or not but im running, Gentoo 2.6.13 like listed above but also im trying to get a Wireless PCI Adapter card called, 802.11g, help? -- TheSource

I'm assuming you have wireless tools installed (iwconfig etc). First see if you have any wireless interfaces
. Usually the wireless device is wlan0 so try this as wellCode:iwconfig
If there are no wireless interfaces you may have to download drivers for your specific card. Check out the linux-wlan project at www.linux-wlan.org or ndiswrapper (which uses windows drivers) at ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net, they have lists of the cards they support.
