Can't emerge Open Office
I need Open Office for a project in my history class, when I try to emerge it with Kuroo, it starts downloading the other prerequisite packages and then stops when it gets to "app-shells/tcsh" it just stops, it says it's working but doesn't do anything. Any help is appreciated.

I would try emerging from the command line that way you can see the exact error that is posted when the build fails. I've never used kuroo but I'm assuming that like most GUI's it hides important messages from you unless you checkout a log.
if you still can't figure it out from the error message post the error message here and check out bugzilla for any new bugs on the program. also, if it keeps happening at tcsh then run a simple
emerge app-shells/tcsh
then emerge openoffice...Operating System: GNU Emacs
