    No such file

    Im attempting to install linux, however im running into this problem:

    ==> SYST ... done.    ==> PWD ... done.
    ==> TYPE I ... done.  ==> CWD /pub/gentoo/distfiles ... done.
    ==> PASV ... done.    ==> RETR usb.ids-20040902.gz ...
    No such file `usb.ids-20040902.gz'.
    !!! Couldn't download usb.ids-20040902.gz. Aborting.
    >>> emerge (1 of 1) sys-apps/usbutils-0.11-r5 to /
    Exception received:
    EmergePackageError :FATAL: emerge: Could not emerge sys-apps/usbutils-0.11-r5!
    Please submit a bug report (after searching to make sure it's not a known issue and verifying you didn't do something stupid) with the contents of /var/log/install.log and /tmp/installprofile.xml and the version of the installer you used

    is there mabye a patch or something that i can do retrieve this file?
    im somewhat of a newbie, but im trying my best and this is driving me nuts

    Grab the file yourself with wget or links, and put it into /usr/portage/distfiles, then try emerging again.
