problem with grub... i think...
Im new to linux. i just started using fedora core 5 about a month ago, but i wanted to switch to gentoo because it's better.
Anyway, i went through the whole install process up to the part where i am supposed to first reboot my system.
When grub came up, there wer a bunch of lines going down the screen and it said
Booting 'Gentoo Linux 2.6.17-r4'
root(hd0,0)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0X83
kernel /boot/kernel-2.6.17-gentoo-r4 root=/dev/hda3
Error 15: File not found
Press any key to continue...
please help me because i really dont want all this time i put into the installation to go to waist.

Look at this tutorial.

About 1/3 of the way down you will see where Nerderello gives in struction on how to find /boot/grub/stage1 and so on.
Error 15 normally means that you have something wrong in your grub entry.
Hopefully the solution will be so easy.How to know if you are a geek.
