Went on vacation, come home and gaim is broken!
I went on vacation for 4 days, got home, sat down at my computer and turned it on.
Went to start gaim, and it starts logging in, then it crashes.....but only as root!.
I tried starting gaim in a terminal, and i got this error message:
BUT, when i start it as root...all is completely fine...a reinstall did not fix the problemCode:~ $ gaim *** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x083fba60 *** Aborted
what's the deal? anybody know?

It probably has to do with one of your plugins; your other user's configuration doesn't load it, so it works fine. Move your ~/.gaim directory to another name (like gaim_temp), and start it up; see if that works.
