i finally got modular X to work by unmasking 7.1, but there is a discoloration everywhere, any ideas?...

    discoloration [solved]


    i finally got modular X to work by unmasking 7.1, but there is a discoloration everywhere, any ideas?

    Looks to me like you are using 16 bit graphics instead of 24 bit graphics. Run xorgconfig again and set the default depth to 24, and it should be good.
