HEy guys help me plz i did everything as in gentoo handbook and still doesn't work. I configured kernel ( all to modules) and emerged alsa-utils ( in dependency alsa-lib and alsa-headers too ) and alsa-oss. I ran alsaconf and everything was ok. Then i added alsa to runscript and rebooted. All mixers are 80% but i dont have mixers as in handbook what makes me afraid - I have something like "IEC958 Front" " IEC958 Center" Instead of MASTER PCM or something like that.

Everything seems to be ok. Aoss, madplay and amarok plays music, but i dont hear it! When i sharply raise sound i hear noise and very silent music.

Can someone help me?
