    Hi guys
can anyone tell me how to solve this problem ? I just installed gentoo on my Pentium III. I
    emege --sync
    emerge -auDv world
    emerge -depclean -a
    rm -f ~/.devdep*

its hard to tell how far u are on the install because your doing an emerge world but the problem in not having revdep-rebuild might be because the program is from the gentoolkit package which you have to emerge

    emerge -va gentoolkit

    this should solve ur problem
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer. All New Users Read This!!! If you have a grub problem please look at GRUB MANUAL
