    I need Help!

    Hi

    I just installed Gentoo on my Playstation 3.. But I am stuck at the login menu of KDE.. and my user name is root and my password is not working... Is there a way to add a user and password so i can log in? anyone know what I have to type from within the localhost to add a user for KDE?

    Anyone know how to enable root loggin within localhost console command??
    Because I cant loggin into the graphical enviroment of KDE..

    You still need to login there, the localhost: console is where you type your user name and password. You can't create a user from there
    I don't know why you decided Gentoo when you are new to Linux ...

    When you are at the kde login screen, look for "Sessions", then see if there is a "Console" login or "Failsafe".
    Then you can login as root and from there you will be able to create a regular user.
