Cant figure how to get alsa to load last session vol settings
Hey. Im new to gentoo linux and have been reading as many documents as I can to learn more about the distro. My small problem right now is that after logging off my session/rebooting and I log back in, my volume settings that I had from the last session arent resumed. Every time I boot my volume is muted.

Log into a terminal as root, and type this little tidbit:
Edit: I guess I should mention that the above command makes the current settings persistent; it doesn't restore the previous session's settings. So you'd run this after you get the settings where you want them, and then they'll stay put.Code:alsactl store
