    Network problem

    Ok, do it:
    lspci -v | grep net
    and get:
    Ethernet Controller: Realtec Semiconductor ................................
    Cool! Do it:
    /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start
    and get:
    eth0 does not exist(

    Why?

    Did you load the modules first? I will assume you need:

    modprobe 8139too
    modprobe 8139cp
