What version???
I am wanting to install Gentoo Linux on my laptop, but I don't know what copy to download. My laptop specs are:
Intel Pentium 3 processor
498 MHz
and 128 MB of RAM
So, what copy would be right for my laptop out of these:
alpha amd64 hppa ia64 ppc (32 bit) ppc64 sparc64 x86
Thanks in advance!

Dude you need x86. With those specs I would advise avoiding kde or gnome, fluxbox or xfce might be more suited to your machine.
Hope this helps.

I would also avoid a distro like Gentoo if you are new to Linux, Gentoo is intented for developers and advanced/experienced users
