    HELP with gaim messenger. (I'm really new to linux.)

    I have the VLOS install of Gentoo Linux.
    I just got it about a week ago because windows wasn't very secure.

    My problem is that I can't get gaim messenger to install properly.

    I have tried Yukiyu to automatically emerge and install the program but i got the following error messages:

    To be honest, I really have no idea what that means or where to start...
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    This is the Suse forum. You may need to go over to the Gentoo forum.

    Are you sure that you are loading a version compatable to Gentoo? This sounds like a destro conflict.
