Gnome doesnt auto start and flashes
When gentoo boots and reaches the step to boot gnome it wont. My LCD says that the display range or something like that is bad. I keep closing it with the Ctrl-Alt-Backspace and it does it for 6 times then stops and tells me something is going wrong (no kidding) and that it will try every 2 minutes. After its done telling me this i manually start gnome and get in it successfully. After i get in and 2 minutes have passed it starts turning my GUI on and off showing a black screen everyt time. It does this 6 times and then the same message, although i can stay in gnome afterwards wit no problem. Most of the time it kills my keyboard too so i have to restart. any ideas why?

Does your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file give you any clues ??
