i have a Belkin F5D7050 (usb wireless card) and i use it on my laptop but got a usb for more portability i can bring in computers flawlessly with it and would really like to put gentoo on my laptop but need to use the inet for installation and well i cannot setup wireless network anyway to do a bootlegged driver for this belking wireless card?
if anyone knows anything please help :?:
current live cds have support for wireless so if your card is supported by linux then it will work fine
If the card is not supported by linux, you could find a livecd with ndiswrapper on for loading the windows driver (I am not sure if the gentoo livecd has ndiswrapper, but I think knoppix has).
