mkdir?

im not able to make directories as user or root!!!!

when i type mkdir /xxx i get err message.....

Which error do you get?

hi

when i logged in as rood i was able to make directories.But as user i had no such permissions.This was solved when adding me on "wheel" group

BTW:i dont know how to add [solved] on title of thread...on daniweb you just had to "mark as solved"....
