Really big internet issue... need ndiswrapper.. but how?
I have gentoo 2007.0 all setup but there is one huge issue... both my wire and wireless connection will not work because they are both broadcom. I thought it would be easy just google a little put ndiswrapper on a usb and install it but that did not work so well. Here is what I have done so far.
Everthing I did was logged in as root
1)Downloaded ndiswrapper and put it on usb
2)copy + paste it into my home folder
3)extracted ndiswrapper using
And now I'm stuck... I cd into ndiswrapper-1.53 and type make... this is what i get
tar -xzf ndiswrapper-1.53.tar.gz
I have my broadcom drivers on the usb also so if I could just get ndiswrapper setup that would be great.
make -C driver
make: Entering directory '/home/robby/ndiswrapper-1.53/driver'

make: Leaving directory '/home/robby/ndiswrapper-1.53/driver'
