Stopping a compulsory diskcheck

Hi
The problem began when I got this message during bootup saying that there are differences between bootsector and its backup. To fix this I did

dosfsck /dev/hda1

---

Since then during every startup the system checks all the filesystems without asking me. How do I stop this?

Maybe tune2fs help

No it won't as my /dev/hda1 happens to be fat32. Any other suggestion I might try?
