Any ideas on how to plot a 3D histogram?
Hi all,
It's my first post of what I hope shall be many in the years to come!
I've been plotting lots of histograms using XMGrace but I'm intersted in combining 2 of these to create a "probability surface" so I can look cool in front of my supervisor!
I don't think xmgr can handle this, can anyone suggest another method or package?
Thanks,

Well, I know R can do histograms and I know R can do 3D plots but I'm not sure if it can do 3D histograms in the way you're describing. Still, it probably wouldn't hurt to install it and see what you can get. Keep in mind that there's a bit of a learning curve with statistical computing programs like R but if you're familiar with programs like SAS then you can pick it up pretty quickly.
Good luck.
