    Pen Device

I was looking at buying a digital pen/pad to use for my art-oriented side in Linux (and for a business reason that is quite long and complicated, so im not going to bother explaining) Basicaly, I was wondering if The Gimp supports that? And to what extent, i looked through the kernel config menu and found an option for the kernel to support it. But if gimp does support it, to what level. (ie, there are up to 512 'pressure levels' on most pens, will gimp give a shif?)
