    Best alternative to iMovie for making slide shows????

    I need to make slide shows mainly. iMovie is great for that... but its for mac. All I need is photos (neat sunsets and stuff) with words rolling across the screen (lyrics). It can be very fancy, but it does not have to be.

    Kdenlive is a good alternative, especially the KDE4 versions.

    PiTiVi is amazing especially since it uses the gstreamer framework to handle any format in or out that gstreamer does =]
