Warbled Fonts on "Blender"
Hello Everyone!
I downloaded and extracted the file below from this URL
blender.org - Get Blender
After starting the program, I got a window with warbled fonts. At first I thought it was written in Japanese or Chinese but on my subsequent reinstalls, I took a closer look noticed that it was actually in english but fonts are warbled.Code:blender-2.49b-linux-glibc236-py25-i386.tar.bz2
I have attached a .png file of my screenshot just in case you might want to check it out.
May I please ask what other things should I be doing in order for me to also experience blender? Or do you think it has something to do with my graphics card?
Thanks in advance!nujinini

Well, the jpg you provided isn't of a high enough resolution to see what you are getting at, so it's really not possible to say what may be going on here.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

My son tried it in an old laptop with nvidia and it looks ok.
There seems to be a fix though. I just not sure if it'll work on mine.
