Free Sofware cad/cam like Catia?

hi,
I'm new in this forum, i'm an intern in a company, and in the department people generally use Catia program.I just know that this is something like a modelling program ,i have no idea how to use it. I choosed a subject and going to do a prensation about using LINUX / open source softwares , Is there any free software used like CATIA ? please if you can give a link , i would be really appreciated.thanks..

thanks for the answer. The problem is i haven't used catia so far. I need a catia user's word who can say " x linux apps is really like catia." i dont have time for experiencing it. have to find a linux apps solution for the company instead of catia.
