autodesk inventor (CAD) on Linux.
I'm part of the robotics team at my school, and we participate in the FIRST competition yearly. I am on the CAD design team, and about 30% of the CAD work is done at my own house, outside of the club. The program we use right now is AutoDesk Inventor, and I'm not sure if it can work on Linux, and if it can't, is there a similar program that uses the same filetypes that can be used on linux, or is there a windows emulator that I can use to run it?
This is a marginally important question as of now, seeing that we don't need to start using CAD for another two weeks, but I would still like a quick response.
