Why not take a look at the above mentioned sources. But please abide by the leicenses, eg GPLv2. Good luck

You might also check out tvtime, vlc or kdetv. Good luck with that.

I second Tvtime. I love it to death! It just works. No troubles with it at all. Gives me what I want, a tv viewer program. Fast and light!
