Hey, I´m new to linux, but I like it. I do a lot of Corel based design work and I was wondering if there is anyway of running it in Linux? I have Wine, WineX and Cedega but I having no luck with them. I basically have no idea what the difference is between .rpm and .tar.gz so if you can help with the Corel thing please use small words:)
RPMs are binary (precompiled) packages for RPM-based distros like Fedora Core/Redhat, Mandrake, and SuSE.
tar.gz/tar.bz2 (commonly called tarballs) are simply compressed files/folders, and usually used to distribute source code.
I'm very suprised that Crossover Office doesn't run it though...
