watching tv in linux

i am getting the picture from the tv tuner card through my own code of C using video4linux .Can anyone plz tell me how to implement
changing the channel facility using the C code.plz do tell me if anyone knows.thanks

Considering they're open-source, you can look at the code for xawtv or mythtv and see how they're doing it.
That's the beauty of being open!

Why not take a look at the above mentioned sources. But please abide by the leicenses, eg GPLv2. Good luck

You might also check out tvtime, vlc or kdetv. Good luck with that.

I second Tvtime. I love it to death! It just works. No troubles with it at all. Gives me what I want, a tv viewer program. Fast and light!

tvtime has to be the best IMHO i just with they had it for bsd :/
