SATA II to SATA I
My motherboard only supports SATA i. I bought two Hitachi SATA drives from a family member, only to discover that they don't have a jumper to set them to SATA I. I downloaded the Hitachi tool that is supposed to do this, but it runs part way, then exits with an unhandled exception.
I'm told that there are PCI cards that can deal with this problem, but I can't find any UK supplier for such a card. Does anyone know of one?
