Monitor allignment problems
I'm using a Samsung Syncmaster 960bf on a Mandriva distro computer. During the setup, when choosing which monitor to use, I selected the plug'n play option for both head#1 and #2 since my model of the syncmaster series wasn't listed under Samsung.
Anyway, whenever I try to run it in 1280x1024 resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate (I've also tried 75 Hz) it seems that the screen is shifted over 1/4 of an inch to the right, and in the empty space is just a vertical black bar on the left hand side. I've then tried 1280x960, and it's still shifted over, albeit only 1/10 of an inch. The horizontal/vertical refresh rates are what they are supposed to be according to the manufacturer in etc/X11/xorg.conf
I've also tried the default 1280x1024 @ 60Hz setting as well, the monitor is still shifted some distance to the right. I just want to run the monitor in a 1280x1024 resolution.
